For more than 35 years, we’ve been working to prevent pet homelessness and care for animals in our community.
Breaking the cycle
Amanda is committed to solving the root causes of pet homelessness in Los Angeles. We keep dogs and cats out of shelters by providing free and low-cost services to people who cannot afford to pay their pets’ medical bills. We educate young people about how to care for animals. And we deploy our Spaymobile Clinic to areas that need it most.

Spaymobile Clinic
We want to end pet overpopulation in Los Angeles. Our state-of-the-art mobile surgical unit provides free spay/neuters to areas that need it most.
Rescue + Adoption
Since 1976, we’ve rescued thousands of dogs and cats from city and country shelters around LA and placed them into loving homes.
Education Program
Our Creating Compassion classes strengthen the caring bond between humans and animals and introduce kids to career opportunities in veterinary science.
